Tower of Light Magazine is now accepting submissions of short stories. Stories should be between 500-4,000 words and should be character driven. Submissions will run from the first of July through the 31^st of August. The editor is very interested in reading submissions from new and unestablished authors, but will gladly read submissions from established authors as well.

Tower of Light is a free online magazine, and payment for any chose story will be a flat rate of $5. As much as the editor would like to pay writers more, this is all they can do for now. Hopefully, in the future, they’ll be able to pay more. All submissions should have a fantasy theme, including superhero fantasy, science fantasy, or dark fantasy. Sword and sorcery are ok as long as the story has an original plot. Also, the editor asks that you not send any erotic fiction, as it’s not what they’re looking for.

Tower of Light Magazine is also interested in fantasy art for upcoming issues. The editor is looking to add one piece of artwork per issue and will pay a flat rate of $5 for artwork.
