Sunday Seeds 04-27-08
As the school year begins to wind down, I’m finding that there is a lot more to do right now, than there was throughout the rest of the year. Between prom, cheerleader tryouts, and choir concerts, I’m exhausted. But it is good fodder for coming up with stuff to write about. And that’s what this week’s seeds are going to do with; getting ready for summer vacation.
1.) Write a post about what you’d like to do on your summer vacation. Is there a special place you’d like to visit, or maybe something you’d like to try that you’ve never done before. Give us as much detail as possible.
2.) Tell us about your very first summer job. It can be anything from babysitting to delivering newspapers. Doesn’t matter what it was, tell us about it.
3.) Write a story about a young girl going to summer camp and what she finds once she’s there.
4.) What was the best summer vacation you’ve ever had? Did you get to go somewhere exotic or did you do something closer to home that was a once in a lifetime experience?
5.) Write an article about all the things there are to do during the summer in your neck of the woods. Does your community have local festivals or concerts? Is there an amusement park or water park near your home? Tell us about all the fun summer activities in your area.
Ok, kids. There are your Sunday Seeds for another week. I do hope you all find something to write about, or at least spark your imagination. Keep us informed of what you’ve written based on the ideas you’ve found here. We’d love to stop by and read your work.
