Sunday Seeds 04-20-08
It’s hard to believe that it’s Sunday again, already. It doesn’t seem possible, but it’s true. So, it’s time once again for another round of writing prompts. I’ve spent the past week helping my mother move, as well as all my normal duties. But, I am trying to get all caught up and all my posts done.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for a theme this week. There’s been so much going on that I’ve been having a hard time deciding on what to do. And that’s when it came to me to do a theme on keeping busy. So, this week’s prompts are all going to be centered on being busy.
1.) Write an essay on what it is that you do for a living, or something that takes up much of your time. This can also be a hobby you enjoy doing.
2.) Write a short story about a man who’s busy lifestyle gets him into trouble.
3.) Do you do something that you see as relaxing, that others might see as being busy? Tell your readers about it in as much detail as possible.
4.) Write a relaxation guide for busy moms. Come up with as many ideas as you can, about how a full-time, or even a working mom, can break from her busy routine.
5.) Discuss a recent project that you’ve been working on. Are you remodeling your house, or crocheting an afghan? Tell us about it. Why are you doing it? How long is it taking? What are the pros and cons of this project? We want to know everything.
And there you have it, folks. Your Sunday Seeds for another week. Remember, these writing prompts are free to use, and can be used in any way you see fit. Even if they only spark an idea for something totally different, they’re yours for the taking.
Have fun, and if you’d like to send us a link to anything you’ve posted from our links, just let us know. We’ll tell the world.
Happy Writing.
