Latest NaNo Update
I’m on a roll. I just broke the 30K mark and I’m not done yet. I know that the 30th is less than a week away, but I’m not going to let that stop me. No sir, I’m kicking butt and taking names.
I’ve gotten past that invisible wall, and past that little voice in my head that kept trying to tell me that I couldn’t do this. Oh yes I can. It’s not even a matter of “I think I can”, it’s totally a mtter of “I KNOW I CAN”. And I’m going to do it. I’ve got 20,000 words to go, but that’s not going to get me down either.
I will be leaving little updates in this post as the weekend continues. My goal is to be somewhere between 40K and 45K by tomorrow night. Will I make it? I don’t know, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
QUICK UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know that I am now at just a little over 36,000 words. I’m aiming for 40,000, but I’ll be happy to see 37,000. I did the math, and in order to be caught up, I need to be at 40,800 before midnight. I’m not going to hold my breath, but at least I’m closing in on my target. 
FINAL UPDATE: I’m done for the day with a word count of 37,016. I did over 10,000 words in one day. My hands hurt, and my fingers are screaming, but I am very happy with my progress. Tomorrow is another day, and I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks hon. I am going to do it this time. My trick is to stop every once in a while and do something else. Then I go back to the story and write somemore.
I started the day at about 26,000 words, and right now I’m over 32,000. And like the engergizer bunny, I’m still going.

Ya’ll would either have a good laugh, or have me locked up if you saw the process I go through writing this. Believe it or not, I do the dialogue out loud, and each character has their own distinct sound and accent. LOL
No wonder hubby bought me a white coat with the arms in the back.
I am very close, and this year, I’m going to do this. I just have to leave a few more comments to limber up my fingers cause they’re stiff as boards this morning. LOLOLOL
